Work Zone Traffic Control Reference Guide
The goal of temporary traffic control in roadway work zones is maximum safety with minimum disruption to traffic. In order to achieve this goal, it is crucial that traffic control in work zones is well planned, properly set up and maintained and adjusted as needed. MDI Traffic Control Products has developed a pocket-sized Work Zone Traffic Control Reference Guide containing general information, types of devices, flagging guidelines, reference charts and examples of typical work zones. The information is based on U.S. Department of Transportation “Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices” (MUTCD). Custom reference guides are also available.
